Vogelbusch Biopharma was contracted to remodel Production Line 2 in the Biologics IV Building. The remodeling was necessary on account of a product conversion.
Modifications of the waste disposal system, integration of a virus filtration system, and an upgrade of the buffer supply were carried out. For the technological design of the virus filtration system, it was necessary to conduct trials beforehand. Based on the results from these trials, Vogelbusch Biopharma was able to plan and implement the new process step successfully.
