HERCEPTIN PRODUCTION EXPANSION 254/10K - (H10) | 2006

Delivery of a fermentation plant (H10). The production of herceptin required upgrading of the fermentation plant in Building 254.
This delivery included a fermentation rack with fermentation volumes of 20 L, 80 L, and 400 L and accessory equipment, as well as a 10,000 L bioreactor. In addition, the supply and disposal lines or transfer lines of the existing facilities were upgraded. Due to production-related reasons, remodeling was also needed for a flexible power supply in the ANSA cell facility and in the harvesting facility. Integration in the existing pipework system plus an extremely tight schedule made the project especially challenging.
